5.4 PUMPS CALIBRATION
A calibration of the two pumps can be performed simply during standard operation of the system, when it is not
dosing due to incoming trigger signals.
By pressing the LEFT and CENTRE buttons simultaneously for more than 5 seconds, the following message will be
prompted:

By pressing the RIGHT and CENTRE buttons simultaneously for more than 5 seconds, the following message will
be prompted:

The system will calculate the real flow rate of the pump based on the calibration volumes entered. The entered
figure will be used in the future flow calculations and statistics gathering.
Periodic calibration of the pumps (at least every three months) is recommended to ensure that, even in cases of
aged tubes or of varied backpressure conditions, the amount of dosed chemical is always the desired one

DESCRIPTION
PUMP CALIBRATION ROUTINE
The display will ask if to calibrate the Detergent Pump or not. Pressing
the left button will cause the system to start to dose at maximum
speed for 60 seconds. The user has to collect the dosed liquid into a
graduated container in order to verify the dosed amount.
A countdown from 60 sec to 0 sec will be displayed.
After the countdown, the screen will show point 37, where the dosed
quantity in ml (nominal or from the previous calibration) can be
updated with the new calibration amount.
By pressing the right button, the system will go back to the previous
menu.
NOTE: During the calibration the DET pump will run at the speed
selected in the programming menu (see points 19 and 23). If you
change the DET pump speed it's recommended to execute a new
calibration.
The display shows the current calibration value of the system. If this
value is different to the amount in your measuring container, use the
left and right keys to increase or decrease the shown value until it
matches the value read with your kit and then confirm it by pressing
the central button.

NOTE: During the calibration the rinse pump will run at the speed
selected in the programming menu (see points 21a, 28a and 34a). If
you change the speed it's recommended to execute a new calibration.
