SET THE DOSING TIME OF THE RINSE PUMP
If you choose to control the RINSE PUMP in TIME MODE, once the
previous parameter has been confirmed, you will access this one.
In this mode, the RINSE PUMP will start as soon a signal is
detected on the S2 input (unless a Rinse delay has been set as
described at point 25) and will run then for the programmed time.
Press the central button to confirm the shown rinse dosing time
value.
By using the left or the right button, you can adjust the value from
1sec to 30sec in steps of 1 second.
The default value is 15sec.
Be aware that the pump will continue to dose for the programmed
time even if the S2 input signal disappears. So, set the run time
equal to or less than the rinse cycle duration.
Once the chosen option is displayed, press the central button to
confirm it.
SET THE DOSING ON/OFF CYCLE OF THE RINSE PUMP
If you choose to control the RINSE PUMP in CYCLIC MODE, once
the parameter at the point 20 has been confirmed, this is the next
parameter to set.
In this mode, the RINSE PUMP will run with a defined ON/OFF
cycle for the duration of the RINSE signal on the S2 input.
This mode is generally used for Conveyor or Flight type machines.
Press the central button to confirm the shown pair of values.
By using the right/left buttons, you can adjust the first value that sets
the ON TIME of the pump, from 1sec to 30sec in steps of 1
second. The value can be confirmed with central button in order to
go to OFF TIME adjustment.
The default value is 15sec.
By using the right/left buttons, you can then adjust the second value
that sets the OFF TIME of the pump, from 5sec to 180sec in steps
of 5 seconds. The value is incremented/decremented of 5 seconds
at each pressure of the right/left button.
The default value is 120sec.
If the signal on the S2 input disappears while the pump is dosing,
the pump will continue its dosage for the programmed ON TIME and
then the cycle will be paused. If the signal on the S2 input
disappears while the pump is not dosing, that means during its OFF
TIME, the system will remember the part of the OFF TIME already
elapsed and, when the signal on the S2 input returns, will complete
the remaining time of the OFF period, and then will start dosing
during the ON TIME.
Example:
R on 15s off 120s
If the signal on the S2 input disappears 40 seconds after the pump
has stopped, this will pause the cycle. When the signal on the S2
input comes back, the system will continue its OFF TIME for the
remaining 80 seconds, and only at that point the pump will be
activated for its ON TIME of 15 seconds.
Once the chosen option is displayed, press the central button to
confirm it.
