Rub condensate dry.

ignite leaking refrigerant in the event of damage/
leaks in the refrigerant circuit. Danger of fire.
► Use a slightly damp cloth or sponge to remove
condensate.
► Do not use any dry cloths or sponges for rubbing
dry.

9.1. Loading

The goods are accessed from the front.
Only load the unit when the temperature specified for the
product has been reached. Check the temperature display
on the inside thermometer (see → Chapter 4.1 Fig. 2).
Improper installation of the displays/shelf displays.
Danger of injury from the displays/shelf displays
with products falling down.
► Support brackets for displays/shelf displays
must be snapped completely into place in the
openings designated for that purpose.
Walking on the surfaces of the unit.
Danger of cuts if the material breaks.
Danger of falling. Danger if being hit by falling
products.
► Never climb on or into the unit when loading it.
Falling objects.
Impact injury.
► Do not put any objects on the unit.
NOTICE
• Property damage from improper use.
► Only load the unit when the temperature specified for
the product has been reached.
► Load the products carefully.
► Do not block the return air intake grating with pro-
ducts.
► Loading is only permitted up to the edge of the return
air intake grating (see → Fig. 7).
► Do not load beyond the end of the shelf.
► Do not block the night roller blind when loading. The
night roller blind must be able to close completely (see
→ Chapter 3.2).

9.2. Shutdown and starting up again

Work on the electrical system.
Contact with live parts can lead to an electric
shock.
► Work on the electrical systems may only be
performed by a qualified electrician.
► Before beginning any work, observe electrical
safety rules.
1. Disconnect the unit.
2. Secure the unit against being switched back on.
Reasons for shutdown by specialists
- Maintenance, service, repair (see → Chapter 10.2)
- Main cleaning (see → Chapter 10.1.2)
- Disposal (see → Chapter 11),
by operating personnel
- Damage on the unit

9.2.1. Shutting down

The shutdown may only be carried out by trained opera-
ting personnel.
Shutdown of the unit. Contact with live parts can
lead to an electric shock.
► Only previously trained personnel may switch off
the unit.
► Disconnect the unit.
► Secure the unit against being switched back on.
Steps for shutting down for operating personnel:
1.
Transfer the products to another unit with the same
temperature class.
Disconnect the unit:

Disconnect the unit's electric circuit by unplugging the
power plug (see → Chapter 7.1, Fig. 6.1) and secure it
against being switched back on.
3.
Unplug the connector for the light/night roller blind
controller (see → Fig. 6.2) from the power outlet for
the day/night signal (market light control voltage).
4.
Switch off the circuit breaker that was used (for electri-
cal protection see → Chapter 7.2) for the affected unit
and the market light control voltage and secure them
against being switched back on.
Extended shutdown:
Carry out the steps for a shutdown (see → above).

Carry out a basic cleaning (see → 10.1.1).

► Do not put anything in or on the unit.
