► Remove the products from the damaged unit and transfer them to a functional unit with the same product
temperature class.
► Switch off the damaged unit after removing the products. (For shutdown → see Chapter 9.2)
► Contact the maintenance service (see→ Chapter 10.4).

1.4 Personnel Requirements

Inadequate qualifications. Risk of injury.
► All activities may only be carried out by qualified personnel.
► The personnel must have read and understood these operating instructions before starting to work.
Operator:
The operator must ensure that the operating personnel have read and understood (training)
these Instructions.
The operator is responsible for the operating personnel recognising malfunctions in the operation (such as
alarms, temperature differences, etc.) and taking suitable measures (→ see Chapters 9.3 and 10.3).
Operating personnel:
The operating personnel must be trained by the operator in the assigned tasks and possible dangers with the
help of these Instructions.
Only trained operating personnel may operate and clean the appliance.
Specialists:
Only qualified specialists who have been authorised by AHT may carry out work on the unit such as:
maintenance (maintenance, service and repair).
Only specialists who have been trained in combustible refrigerants may work on the refrigerant circuit for
R-290 units.
Only electricians may work on the electrical system.
The main cleaning (see→ Chapter 10.1.2) may only be carried out by AHT authorised and trained cleaning com-
panies or specialists.
Any persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities may only operate the unit un-
der supervision and after instruction, and they may not perform any maintenance work. Children are not allowed
to play with the unit.
Working under the influence of alcohol and drugs is forbidden.

1.5 Personal Protective Equipment

Use hand protection
► Protection against sharp edges of the unit when cleaning and during other maintenance work.
► Protection against sharp edges of the unit and heavy parts of the unit during unpacking, setup
and installation.
► Protection against sharp edges of the unit and rotating parts during maintenance, service and
repair work.
► For the removal of glass parts and glass splinters in the event of glass breakage.
► Protection against contact with liquid/leaking refrigerant in the event of a leak in the refrigerant
circuit.
Use eye protection
► Protection against contact with liquid/leaking refrigerant in the event of a leak in the refrigerant
circuit.
Use protective clothing
► When loading the units with products, wear suitable clothing (protection against the cold).
