2. Product Description
2.1. General Information
AHT products comply with EU guideline 2011/65/EU
(RoHS2) for the avoidance of hazardous substances in
electrical and electronic equipment and EU ordinance
1907/2006 (REACH) for the registration, evaluation and
authorisation of chemicals. During product design, the ma-
nufacturer gave due attention to ensure that the units are
environmentally friendly and easy to dispose of, especial-
ly for the refrigerant propane (R290) and the propellant
pentane (for the insulating foam). Propane has no ozone
depletion potential (ODP) and only very slight greenhouse
warming potential (GWP) of 3.
2.2. Technical Data

(see→ Chapter 2.2.1).

2.2.1. Rating Plate and Serial Number
The information provided on the "rating plate" must be
observed when handling the unit. It is found as a sticker on
the top right of the inside of the unit's cover and contains
important technical data on the following:
- unit name and unit model
- serial number
- climate class (see → Chapter 2.3),
- rated voltage and rated frequency
- rated current and rated input
- refrigerant and amount used
- net content
- date of manufacture
- mark of conformity
- technical data on the interior lighting (optional)
as well as other technical data
2.3. Proper Use
The units are suitable for packaged, refrigerated food
products and for the following product temperature classes
