1.3 Proper Use

• The unit is only suitable for packaged, refrigerated food products.
• Operate the unit in the climate class (ambient temperature and relative humidity) given on the rating plate (see
→ chapter 2.2.1).
• The operator is responsible for proper operation of the units.
• No technical changes may be made to the unit.
• All stipulated safety devices must be present and fully functional before operating the unit.
• Do not store any potentially explosive substances in the unit, such as aerosol containers for example.
• No steam and high-pressure cleaners may be used for the basic cleaning (see → Chapter 10.1).
• Do not use or store the unit outdoors.
• Material damage from improper use.
► Operate the unit in its position of use and in a stable position (aligned horizontally).
► Only operate the unit on the adjustable feet provided for that purpose.
► Observe the setup information in → Chapter 7.
► Check the unit regularly to make sure it is in perfect condition. Damage must be repaired immediately.
• Property damage from improper use.
► The ambient temperature must not be below 16°C.
► Before stocking and during operation, check to make sure that the inside temperature is correct
(see →Chapter 4.1.).
► Stored products must be checked by the operator in the event of a power cut (temperature check).
► Regularly check for foreign objects in the product compartment. Improperly stored products must be
removed immediately.
• Property damage in the event of a damaged glass element (crack, fissure, break).
► Operation of a unit with a damaged glass element is no longer possible.
