1. Fill the pot with tap water. The water should be lukewarm to achieve an ideal
result. In this regard, pay attention to Minimum indicator

precisely between the two indicators. When placing the food in the pot, the
water level will increase slightly. Please keep this in mind when filling the
pot with water.
2. Open the fixing clamp by pressing it. Fasten the appli-
ance on the pot; the wall of the pot must be between
the appliance and fixing clamp. This ensures that the
appliance is fastened and cannot tip over. If the pot
height is sufficient to fix the appliance in place with
the clamp, you can simply place the appliance in the
pot. However, in so doing, always ensure that it cannot
fall over.
3. Plug the mains plug of the appliance into an electrical outlet (220–240 V~,
50/60 Hz). All indicators light up briefly and a signal tone will sound. There-
after the appliance is in standby mode.
4. Press the ON/OFF button on the operating display and keep it depressed for at
least 5 seconds. In the upper right the display shows the set temperature.
Below this it shows the actually measured temperature. The time informa-
tion is presented in the lower row. The basic setting is 60°C.
5. Tip: Press the ON/OFF button and „SET" simultaneously to change between
Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature display as needed.
6. In addition to the temperature, the following information is also shown in
the display:
ƒ Set Time (on the left in the display):
Shows the cooking time of the food that you have set. Times can be set
between 00 hours 00 minutes and 59 hours 59 minutes.
ƒ Work Time (on the right in the display):
Shows the work time
7. To set the desired cooking time, press the „Set" button once. The hour dis-
play is flashing. With the temperature regulator, you can now set the desired
number of hours. Press the „Set" button again (a total of two times) to set
the desired number of minutes with the temperature regulator.
8. Press "Set" again. When the programmed water temperature (SET
TEMP) setting in the upper right hand corner is blinking, use the
temperature regulator to set the desired temperature. The maximum
