4.3 To start the engine
Caution! Make sure that the auger lever and the drive
lever are in the neutral position (upwards) before you start
the engine.
Note! Do a check of the oil level before you start the engine.
4.3.1 Manual start
Warning!
Do not let go
cord pulls in. If the cord is pulled in too quickly the starter
handle can cause personal injury and/or material damage.

Open the fuel valve.

Put the ignition knob in ignition mode.

Set the throttle lever in the high position.

If the engine is cold, close the choke.

Block the ventilation hole on the primer bulb and
push it once if the engine is warm and 3-5 times if the
engine is cold.

Pull the starter cord slowly until you feel it holds a
grip and then pull quickly.

Slowly move the choke lever to the closed position
when the engine warms up. If the engine stops, start
it again and let it run for a while with the choke
half-open before slowly moving the choke lever to the
closed position.
4.3.2 Electric start
Caution! The starter motor has an overload protection
that trips if the engine overheats. Let the engine become
cool before attempting to start it again.

Connect the power plug into a 230 V earthed power
outlet.

Put the ignition knob in ignition mode.

Set the engine throttle in the high revs position.

4.4 Control levers
4.4.1 Drive lever
The drive lever is located on the right handle. Pull the drive
lever down to engage the wheel drive, then release it to
disengage.
4.4.2 Gear lever
Warning! Disengage the gear lever and the drive
lever before you change gears.
The gear lever is located on the left side and is used to set
the drive speed and the direction of travel. Push the drive (A)
lever forward to drive forward and pull the lever backwards
to drive reverse. (Figure 6)
4.4.3 Forward Drive
The speed of the product is variable. Push the lever forward
to increase the speed and pull the lever backward to
decrease the speed. Adapt the speed during operation. Drive
at the lowest speed when throwing snow.
4.4.4 Rear Drive
The speed of the product is variable. Pull the lever
backwards to increase the speed and push the lever forward
to decrease the speed.
4.5 Driving the wheels

Let the engine run at high speed and select a suitable
gear for the actual conditions.

Push and hold the auger lever to activate the auger,
release it to stop the snow blowing.

Push and hold the drive lever to activate driving,
release it to stop.
