Attach the lower handle and make sure that the
bottom shaft of the angle adjuster is correctly
attached to the main joint (C). (Figure 4)

Attach the upper handle, adjust to the applicable
height and make sure that the wire is positioned
correctly on the right side of the handle, secure it
with the cable clamp (A). (Figure 5)
3.1 Training
Warning! Do not let children to operate the product!
Warning! Keep the area clear of bystanders, specially
small children and pets. Stop the product if anyone enters
the work area.
● Read all the instructions and safety instructions and all
the warning labels on the product before assembly and
use. Save these instructions for future reference.
● Familiarize yourself with the controls on the product and
how to use them. Learn how to stop the product quickly
and how to disengage the drive.
● Do not let adults to operate the product without corrert
instruction.
● Make sure to take caution during operation to avoid
accidents, specially when you walk backwards.
● Ejected objects can cause serious personal injury. Plan
the work so that materials are not thrown towards roads
and bystanders.

Operation
4.1 Preparation
● Thoroughly inspect the area where the product is to be
used and remove all doormats, sleds, boards, wires and
other foreign objects.
● Disengage all clutches and shift into neutral before the
engine is started.
● Do not operate the product without wearing adequate
winter garments. Avoid loose fitting clothing that can get
caught in moving parts. Wear footwear that will improve
footing on slippery surfaces.
● Always wear safety glasses or eye shields during
operation or while adjustment or repair is done to protect
eyes from foreign objects that may be thrown from the
product.
● Do not do any adjustments while the engine operates
except when specifically recommended by the
manufacturer.

4.2 To attach or release the battery

Open the battery compartment cover (A). (Figure 6)

Align the grooves in the battery with the raised ribs in
the battery compartment.

Put the battery (B) into the compartment. Push the
battery until you hear a "click".
Note! The battery-release button will come up when the
battery is correctly attached.

To release the battery, push the battery-release
button and then pull the battery out of the
compartment.

Close the battery compartment cover.
4.2.1 If the Battery overheats
Note! If the battery temperature exceeds 70°C during opera-
tion, the temperature-protection circuit will immediately turn
off the product to protect the battery from overheating.

Release the bail switch and allow the overheated
battery to cool down.

Wait until the red LEDs on the battery turn green,
before you restart the product.
Note! If a the product stops because of an overheated
baterry, slow down your pace and narrow the width of the
clearing path to reduce the load on the battery.
4.3
To start the product
Warning! Do not override the function of the safety
button and bail switch.
Warning! When the product operates, foreign objects
can be thrown towards your or other person, which can
damage eyes severely. Wear safety glasses during operation
or when you do any adjustments or repairs on the product.
Warning! The auger will continue to rotate for a few
seconds after the product is turned off. Allow the auger to
come to a complete stop before you start it again.
Note! The product may not correctly start if the temperature
of the battery is below -20°C. If the product does not start,
remove the battery from the product and put it indoors to
