of thisproductincommercial buildings canbe obstructing t o existing
buildingcodes. Beforeinstallation of thisproductconsult w ith Fire
Department or your local buildinginspector.
Theatticladderhasbeendesignedto be installedin roomwhere
theceilingheightis intherangedescribedon thepackaging.This
productshouldnotbeinstalled if theceilingheight d oesnotfit inthe
rangedescribedon theproduct'slabel. Modificationsof theattic
laddercan be dangerous.
Theattic ladder can be installedin buildingswith typical wood
framed ceiling (Figure l). YOUShOUld never cut any Of the
constructing elements of the ceilingwithoutprior consultation with
an architect ( referto yellowpages).
Theatticladdershouldnotbe installed inchosen spotifthereisone
of thefollowing:
— air ducts
— metal constructions
— cement c eiling
— drop ceiling
