Carburetor sediment cup cleaning
• Turn the fuel valve to the OFF position.
• Remove the sediment cup and o-ring by unscrewing the
bolt underneath the cup with a suitable wrench. See Fig. 12.
• Clean the sediment cup using a non-flammable solvent,
then allow it to air dry thoroughly.
• Reinstall the sediment cup and o-ring onto the engine.
• Turn the fuel valve to the ON position and check for any
leaks.
Spark plug replacement
• Remove the spark plug cap and clear any dirt from the area
around the spark plug.
• Use a spark plug wrench to remove the spark plug. (Refer
to Fig. 13a.)
• Visually inspect the spark plug to ensure the electrode is clean and not worn out. Remove
any carbon buildup around the electrode.
• Measure the spark plug gap using a spark plug gauge. If necessary, adjust the gap by
carefully bending the side electrode. The gap should be between 0.70 mm and 0.80 mm (See
Fig. 13b).
• Ensure the spark plug sealing washer is in good condition, then carefully thread the spark
plug in by hand to avoid cross-threading.
• Once the spark plug is seated, tighten it with a spark plug wrench to compress the washer.
• Reattach the spark plug cap.

cool down.
• Remove the spark plug from the engine, following the
instructions provided earlier in this section.

See Fig. 14 for illustration.
• Use an appropriate hex key and wrench to remove the
blades.
• The blade can either be sharpened by a qualified
machinist or replaced with a new one. Contact an
authorized dealer for replacement parts.
• Ensure that all blades are sharpened or replaced
simultaneously to maintain proper balance.
