15. Troubleshooting

The following table shows fault symptoms and describes remedial measures in the event of your machine failing to
work properly. If you cannot localise and rectify the problem with this, please contact your service workshop.
Fault
The compressor does
not start.
The compressor
starts but there is no

Possible cause
Mains voltage not present.
Mains voltage too low.
Outdoor temperature too low.
Motor is overheated.
The safety valve leaks.
The seals are damaged.
Drain screw for condensate leaking.
Hose connections leaking.
Quick-coupler leaking.
Pressure set too low at pressure
regulator.

Remedy
Check cable, mains plug, fuse and socket.
Avoid extension cables that are too long.
Use extension cables with sufficient
conductor cross-section.
Do not operate at outside temperatures
below +5°C.
Allow the motor to cool down. If necessary,
remedy the cause of the overheating.
Contact your local service centre. Only
allow qualified personnel to carry out
repairs.
Replace the seals, have defective seals
replaced at a specialist workshop.
Tighten the screw by hand. Check the seal
on the screw and replace if necessary.
Check compressed air hose and tools,
replace if necessary.
