Electric shock due to defective cables
Damaged or improperly installed cables can lead to fatal electric shock.
► Check all live cables and connections for proper installation and damage.
► Damaged, deformed or worn parts should only be replaced by a qualified electrician.
Risk of injury due to fire
Improper use or connection can result in fire. This may result in serious burns.
► Ensure that the operating voltage specified on the nameplate is suitable for the mains voltage.

► Plug in the power plug.

Connect the electric cable on the profile tube with

the electric cable of the extraction hood.
Connect the corresponding cable colors.
The black cables are labeled with the numbers 1
and 2. Connect the cables with the number 1 and
connect the cables with the number 2.
Use a cable tie to secure the connected cables on

the profile tube.
Trim any protruding ends of the cable tie.

Pull the extraction hose over the profile tube until

it is over the metal flange.
Place the loosely attached clamp over the
17
extraction hose and use the screwdriver to secure
it in place.
Fold over the bottom edge of the rubber sleeve so
18
that the clamp is covered.
