Searching forward/backward (scanning)

Press and hold
for at least one
second.
During playback, press and hold a skip (.//) button for one or
more seconds to search backward/forward. When you find the point
where you want to listen, press the play (y) button on the main unit
or the play/pause (y/9) button on the remote control.
Repeatedly press a skip (.//) button (for at least one second)
to change the backward/forward search speed.
The speed that the < or > blinks on the display also changes.
Low speed Medium speed
Playback at normal speed
o To change the backward/forward search speed, briefly press a
skip (.//) button several times. Do not press and hold the
button.
When using the remote control, press the SCAN (m/,) buttons.

Repeat playback

The repeat mode changes each time you press the REPEAT button
during playback.

Track repeat

The current track is played back repeatedly. During repeat playback,

select a different track to repeat playback of that track.

Disc repeat

All tracks on the current disc are played back repeatedly.
During repeat playback, the repeat mode is shown.
o Stopping playback ends repeat playback mode.
