Troubleshooting

When a problem occurs, identify if the problem is with the instrument, cables or sensor.
1. Make sure that power is applied to the instrument.
2. Make sure that all the cable connections are secure.
3. Remove debris from the sensor.
4. Identify if the problem is with one measurement channel or if the sensor does not transmit.
5. If the sensor does not transmit:
a. Look for moisture on the sensor connector.
b. Dry the sensor connector as necessary.
c. Make sure that the sensor connector is tightened securely.
6. Record all error codes that occur on the instrument, then contact the manufacturer.
7. If the instrument stops operation as a result of a power fluctuation or a reason not known, push
the red power reset button to start the microprocessor again. Refer to
Figure 6 on page 12.
