Changing the Transmitter Lever Settings

If you want to fly with the pre-set stick assignments described above (MODE 2), then you can skip this chapter.
However, if you wish to exchange the control of the pitch and nod function at the transmitter (MODE 1), you have
the possibility to carry out modifications on the transmitter. The transmitter does not need to be opened for this. The
required setting screws and DIP switches are accessible through the rear wall.
Caution, important!
Before modifying the transmitter, remove the batteries from the battery compartment.
Proceed as follows:
First, loosen the screw (1) in small steps until the left
control stick can be moved forward and backward wit-
hout feeling friction or latching.
Then turn the screw (2) out until the left control stick is
held in the middle position by spring force.
If you turn in the screw 3 to the stop, the right control
stick can be moved forward and backward without retur-
ning to the middle position.
Turn in the screw 4 until the desired friction or latching
can be felt at the end.
To switch the control electrically as well, move the DIP
switch with number 4 (see figure 27, item 5) from the
upper position „ON" to the lower position „OFF".
After the mechanical function of the two stick units and
the correct position of the DIP switch 4 has been revie-
wed, insert the batteries/rechargeable batteries into the
transmitter again and check the correct function of the
remote control based on the swash plate movements.
