Measurement of a maximum
Max.
1. Press the red DIST button (3) to switch on the laser rangefinder. By default, the length meas-
urement function is automatically enabled when the device is switched on.
2. Press the FUNC button (2) four times to switch to the maximum measurement function.
3. Press the red DISTbutton to switch on the laser.
4. Point the laser beam at the end point of the distance you want to measure on a suitable
surface. Press the red DIST button to start continuous measurements. When the continuous
measurement function is enabled, the laser rangefinder will measure continuously at inter-
vals and emit beeps at short intervals. In this measurement mode, measurements are made
continuously with each beep. When a new maximum value is found, an exact measurement
is taken. New extreme values in the current set of measurements will replace the previous
maximum values.
5. Press the red DIST button to end the measurement process. The device will stop beeping
and the continuous measurements will end.
6. Read the longest measurement result on the display.
