Turning off an element
Select the element and turn the knob until ‹ appears.
The element is switched off and the residual heat
indicator comes on
Note: The cooktop is automatically turned off when all
elements have been switched off for a set period of
time. If the cooktop is still hot, the residual heat
indicator will come on. If the cooktop is turned on a
few seconds after ti was turned off, the last settings
will remain. To return to the last selected settings
choose a cooking element.
Note: During cooking, stews or liquid meals such as
soups, sauces or drinks can heat up too quickly
unnoticed and overflow or spatter. For this reason we
recommend that you stir continuously, gradually
