functiOn
Pre-melted thermoplastic material is poured into the holding tank. The holding tank can hold
up to 250 lbs of melted thermoplastic and maintain a material temperature of 400ºF - 430ºF. The
interior of the holding tank is separated into two bays by a screen.
The holding tank has two access doors:
The larger door is located above the bay where the pre-melted thermoplastic material is
poured and is agitated.
The small door is located above the bay where the pre-melted thermoplastic material is
delivered down to the die.
Both doors allow easy access for cleaning.
The bottom of the kettle is completely enclosed to keep the burner from blowing out. The
kettle chamber is fully insulated with 1-inch insulation. Construction consists of exterior wall,
followed by insulation, followed by an inner wall to retain heat and protect insulation.
The bead reservoir is 5" wide for easier loading and can hold up to 50 lbs. of beads. Beads are
delivered from the bead reservoir to the bead box by operating the Die and bead dispenser -
inside right lever.

Once activated by the inside right handle, beads will travel from the bead reservoir to the bead
dispenser, where they will be applied onto the thermoplastic that has just been applied.
The main unit is completely modular and constructed with aluminum. Certain pieces can be
unbolted and replaced as needed.
This is the area where the propane (LP) tank is mounted. Once connected, the LP tank is the fuel
source to the burners that keep the thermoplastic material heated. An LP tank is not included
with the system and must be purchased separately.
The swivel wheel is a feature exclusively designed to ease the pain and strain of working with a
handliner. Located at the rear of the handliner, this wheel enables a 360º turn radius, preventing
the need to lift the handliner, thus relieving back fatigue.
The swivel wheel has also been designed to automatically lock after turn completion.
The wheel has been designed with a quick-release lever to unlock the wheel with ease.
The wheels are sized at 10" x 2.75" to promote stability.
Precision bearings in all wheels and for the main axle shaft maintain smooth, effortless
movemement.
Thermoplastic material travels from the holding tank to the die when the outside right handle
is activated. The die delivers material to the marking surface when the inside right handle is
activated.
The die claw is able to pivot smoothly across the surface. This allows the die to mirror the
image of the road, and is cost efficient as it will lay the proper mil thickness every time.
The die gauge has adjustable mileage bar with slots for mileage adjustments (Example: .60,
.90, .125 mil).
This door can be opened to allow easy access when changing dies.
The door has a tab to lock it in the "UP" position, so that it will not fall while changing dies.
One RE-VERBER-RAY die burner is positioned over the die.
When aligned properly with the edge of the die, the guide allows the user to more accurately
track the direction and location of the thermoplastic that will be applied. This can be adjusted
based on the die settings.
Behind the burner access door are the burners. The burners heat the kettle.
The gas valves are located up under the bead reservoir to keep them away from the elements.
Easy access doors are provided to light the unit.
Copper tubing is used for gas supply, as well as LPG certified shut-off valves.
Behind the pilot access door is the pilot light. The pilot light is the source of the flame needed to
keep the material heated.
