Unlocking from the outside and inside
The mFlipLock drive is opened from the outside using the cylinder switch function or by an electrical
impulse that allows the door to be opened in less than 1.5 s.
The mFlipLock e-drive is opened from the outside using the cylinder switch function or by an electrical
impulse that only retracts the bolts back to 5 mm. The flip latches remain blocked. At the same time, the
outside lever handle is coupled to the motor (in the opposite direction to the escape direction) and the
door is completely unlocked by actuating a door handle. The outside lever handle can be coupled to the
motor in less than 1.5 seconds.
Unlocking from the inside
The lock can be unlocked from the inside at any time using the panic function, even if the motor is
switched off or not working.
The lock is mechanically self locking and the door is, therefore,
always locked when in a closed state. The lock is unlocked by the
motor drive unit or by mechanical actuation.
Functional locking principle
