Problem
Motorised unlocking is not
possible but the lock can be
manually unlocked by the
inside lever handle (in escape
direction).
The door can be pushed or
pulled open by hand although
it should be locked.
The bolt jumps back out of
the lock immediately after
opening the door.
e-drive only: Door cannot be
manually unlocked using the
outside handle.

Risk of death due to electric shock:Incorrect maintenance work is life-threatening.
· Repair work must only be executed by the manufacturer or a qualified, skilled tradesperson (electrician).
· Never attempt to open the lock housing or the drive unit yourself.
Cause
The bolt can no longer be retracted by the motor.
The bolt does not have enough free movement and jams in
the extended state.
The lock is not supplied with 11 to 27 V DC .
Connection cable is defective.
The lock no longer reacts to electrical commands.
The lock motor is defective.
The lock motor does not react to opening commands.
The lock motor is not supplied with 11 to 27 V DC .
The bolt is not extended when the door is closed.
Flip latch cannot freely engage in the strike plate.
The bolt is not extended when the door is closed.
Locking cylinder jammed.
The bolt is not extended when the door is closed.
The trip latch is not actuated.
The lock does not lock when the door is closed.
The lock is in the Office function (permanently released).
The lock does not lock when the door is closed.
The connection cable was interrupted during the release
period.
The trip latch is not retained in position for permanent door

Solution
Adjust the door and the position of the strike plate so that
the bolt has enough rebate gap.
Measure the conductivity of the connection cable and
replace any defective connection cables.
Contact a qualified tradesperson and replace the lock if
necessary.
Check and, if necessary, correct the polarity for the motor
inputs.
Adjust the door and the position of the strike plate so that
the flip latch engages freely in the strike plate and door frame
and can position itself.
Check and replace the locking cylinder if necessary. Check
switchover operation using a key.
Check and, if necessary, correct the rebate gap.
Check and, if necessary, correct the permanent door release
control system.
Measure the conductivity of the connection cable and
replace any defective connection cables.
Press the door handle right down to the end stop.
Check and, if necessary, correct the rebate gap.
Check that the lock has been installed without distortion
and, if necessary, correct the installation.
Check and correct the polarity of the 12 to 24 V DC input.
Measure the conductivity of the connection cable and
replace any defective connection cables.
If the polarity and conductivity of the connection cable is OK,
contact a qualified tradesperson.
