Remote Control
Inserting the Batteries into the Remote
Remove the screw that secures the battery
compartment cover on the back side of the remote
control first. Insert two 1.5V - size AAA batteries.
Make sure the (+) and (-) signs match (observe correct
polarity). Do not mix old and new batteries. Replace
only with same or equivalent type. Place the cover
back on. Then secure the cover again with the screw.
Standby Button
Press and hold the Standby button on the remote
control. Power off dialogue will appear on the screen.
Highlight OK and press the OK button. The Display will
switch into standby mode. Press briefly and release to
switch the Display into quick standby mode or to switch
on the Display when in quick standby or standby mode.
The behaviour of the Standby button will change
depending on the Power Mode option setting in the
Display Settings > Options > Power Up Settings
menu. If this option is turned off (Eco mode), the
Display will switch into standby mode when the
Standby button is pressed.

Volume +/-: Increases or decreases the volume

Home: Opens the Home Screen

Menu: Opens the Display Settings menu

Directional buttons: Navigates menus, setting
options, moves the focus or cursor, etc.

OK: Confirms user selections, enters to sub-men-

Back: Returns to previous screen, goes one step
back, closes open windows

Mute: Completely turns off the volume of the
Display

Freeze: Freezes the currently displayed image
on the screen. Press again to cancel the freeze
function. You can also press the Back button to
quit freeze mode or tap on the Unfreeze button
on the screen
10. Eye Care: Enables eye care function. Basically
the Colour Temperature will be set to Warm
when this button is pressed
11. Pause: Pauses the media being played
Play: Resumes playing the paused media
12. Numeric keyboard: Opens a numeric keyboard.
Use this virtual keyboard to enter a number in the
text box on the screen
13. Picture Mode: Opens the picture mode selection
menu. Use the Left and Right directional buttons
to set
14. Display Mode: Switches among the aspect ratio
options
15. Exit: Closes and exits from displayed menus
or any running application, returns to previous
screen, opens the Home Screen
16. Source: Opens the source selection menu
17. Brightness +/-: Increases or decreases the
brightness of the screen
Note: Adjusting the brightness will not affect the picture
on the launcher menu (Home Screen)
