MAINTENANCE
MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY EXPERT PERSONNEL AFTER TURNING OFF THE ENGINE, DISCONNECTING THE
POWER SUPPLY.
Periodically check the tension of the transmission belts, expecially during the first days of work, in order to avoid the chains sliding thus
the blocking of the drum. Periodically grease the rotation crown of the drum. To effect this operation, loose the lower protection of the
crown and, with a spatula, strew it with grease, turn the drum ( keep hands clear the drum) and grease the part to complete greasing.
So refit the protection. Grease the rotation pin of the skip.Check periodically the deterioration of the upper roller of the crown. This
adjustement must be effected if, when the drum is empty, there is some room ( lifting the drum from the opening).Please turn the
screw (on the top of roller support).
Periodically check the oil level and, if required, add it to motor reducer and to
scraping shovel reducer. - Change the oil after first 1000 hours of work (or one
year as a maximum); afterwards change the oil after 2000 hours of operation
(two years as a maximum). Use SAE 30/40 oil for motor reducer and SAE 90 oil
for scraping shovel reducer.
About the hydraulic system :
- Periodically check the hydraulic oil level, the oil level must be up from 2 cmm
on the upper part of the tank and half of it. The first oil change must be
effected ( max 1 year) after the first 1000 hours of operation ( change also the
oil filter in the oil tank- for the machine with this optional)
Afterwards, periodically check the oil level and, if required, adjust it. Clean oil
filter with petrol; dry it thoroughly and replace it in its seat.
Use AGIP ACER 32 oil
SCRAPING SHOVEL
Grease the axle of the driving pulley and make sure that the cable is not
deteriorated, otherwise replace it ( with a identical cable ) and refit them
correctly as the original.
Set the shovel gearmotor (if it is strong) , slaking the block nut and turning the
screw, that adjust the braking, Tighten the nut.
CONCRETE MIXER WITH DIESEL ENGINE
About the maintenance operation please refer to owner's manual of the manufacturer.
Periodically check the tension of the transmission belt of the inverter. In order to do that, make the reverser/engine flow to obtain the
fastening of the belts.Check the tension by pressing the fingers on the belts. The belts have to be firm ( not too loose and not too firm).
Fasten bolts and nuts of the engine/reverser..
INCOVENIENTS AND REMEDIES
The skip does not lift
When the drum is full the rotation slows down
The machine makes too much vibrations
The engine does not start
The engine stops while loading the drum
The drum does not turn even if the buttons are pulled

Check the oil level of the hydraulic system – the drum is down loading
the materials
Check the tension fo the belts
Check that the 4 stabilizers are firmthe stability of the machine
Check the supply tension
Check the supply alimentation or the concrete. Check if the drum is too
full.
Check if the emergency button is on. Check the connections on the control
console
Check the fuel- Check if the lever which leads the stop is in its place
Check the battery
Loose the gear motor brake
