OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
The instruction of this manual must be read and followed to make the best use of this concrete-mixer. The user should know and
practise the following positioning and installation norms.
-Make sure that there are not persons or other obstacles that could be a source of danger around the working area. The area around
of the machine must be wide and without obstacles.- The workplace must have sufficient lighting - Do not use the concrete-mixer in a
fire-risk zone ( inflammable and /or explosive gas, powders, liquids..) .Possible sparks may cause fire or explosions. - Do not use the
concrete-mixer to mix inflammable liquids, corrosive substance or stuff food-Do not allow other people/children to remain in the
vicinity of the machine during working-Do not modify safety devices in any way or bypass their function. Work without safety devices
could be result dangerous for the operator.-The concrete-mixer can only function if all safety devices with which it is equipped are in
perfect operation-Take care the working parts of the machine even if perfectly protected.-Avoid Excessively filling the concrete-mixer.
Do not exceed the indicated capacity-While the drum is working, do not put inside further material or do not take out the material
already inside the drum. Do not insert any tool and body parts inside the drum. -Used oil is classified as special waste and must be
treated as such. You are strongly recommended to carefully dispose of these materials, not to scatter them in the environment.- Do not
pull the supply power, which the machine is connected to, violently to disconnect the power socket-The cable should be laid in such a
way as not be able to be damaged ( Keep the cable away from sparks, heat, and other ignition sources-Always disconnect the power
cable whenever the concrete-mixer is not in use ( before moving the mixer, before carrying out any form of maintenance work, before
cleaning it)-Whenever the concrete-mixer is not in use, protect the electric components from humidity and rain and check to make
sure that all electric parts are fully guarded-Check that the voltage correspond to the machine data plate-In case of emergency do not
use water to put out fire , but use specific tools and substances, as powder extinguisher or similar tools.
Make sure that the electric feeding system is in alternate tension ( not in continuous tension) , with the same frequency as shown on
the identification label of the engine. A reduction of the tension equal or/ more than 10% may cause decreasing in the power of the
engine. Since all the machines have been checked before the delivery, if it happens please check the electric feeding system.
The concrete-mixer is provided with a plug to be connected directly to supply power. The electric cable must be automatically
protected by fusible or by automatic switch. You are recommended to consult specialized personnel to make our this connection.
The three-phase electric motors are predisposed for 380V tension; they can also be powered by a 220 V three-phase tension ( in this
case will be necessary to re-programme the voltage modifying the connection in the clamps case of the same motor and setting the
remote control switch and the transformer). You are recommended to carry out this operation by expert personnel.
Before starting to work, you are recommended to check the sense of rotation of the drum ( and of the scraping shovel geared motor);
it must be the same as shown on the arrow (on the concrete-mixer), otherwise it is necessary to invert the connections of the 2 power
cable wires.
If you may need a longer power cable (in according to law's requirements), make sure that the supply lead section is enough to bear
the required power by machine's engine. ( until 10 mt, cable section 1,5-2,5...... from 11 to 25 mt cable section 2,5-4 ... from 26 to 50
mt cable section 6-10)
Connect the machine by an earth wire, which has to have at least the same section to the feeding cable's one. If the electric system is
without earthing connect the concrete-mixer directly to the ground by a stake. Do not walk on the cable of electric feeding system and
do not put anything on it ( cable, material..).
INSTALLATION
The concrete mixer should be on a solid and as flat as possible surface and so, prepare the ground where the machine will be settled on
in order to guarantee stability. Loose the rudder and take it our from its position
The concrete-mixer must work with lifted wheels ( they do not have to touch the ground), to do that just use the stabilizers and fix
them. To get the best position, put the drum of the machine with a light inclination ( max permissible slope 5%). Make sure that the
area around the machine is wide and without obstacles which may prevent the operator to reach the control device of the machine.
If the electric system is without earthing connect the concrete-mixer directly to the ground by a stake.Use a supply lead which has to
have at least the same section to the feeding cable's one.
Do not walk on the electric feeding system and do not put anything on it.
Connect the feeding tube to the collector of the water tank ( the water pressure must be at a minimum lever). The water tank is
equipped with automatic device that stops the water flow as the water tank is full . Check the oil level in the hydraulic system, the
quantity of oil in the tank must be included between 2 cm and ¾ on the upper part..
OPERATING CYCLE
To take away the safety device of the hopper , pull the level 1 to the postion A1. The
hopper will be lifted and so it will be possible to unlock the chain.
Pulling the level 1 tot he position B1, the hopper will go down to charge the material. If
the concrete mixer is equipped by scraper, the material can be loaded with this device.
When the hopper is loaded, move the level 1 to the position A1: the hopper will be lifted
and the inside material will be pour down in the drum. At this point add a certain
amount of water according to your needs using the water tub. When the mixture is
ready, put the hopper down again to the loading position by the level 1. The level 2 will
be unlocked and positioning the level to the position A2 the drum will rotate and empty
the material.
When the drum will be empty, rotate again the drum to the loading position by pulling
the lelev 2 to the position B2.
To star mixing again, start the above operations as described. When the working process
is finished, clean the drum from possible remaining material. After this cleaning
operation, put completely down the hopper or, if lifted, lock the safety chain,
rotate the general switch on the position O and disconnect the electric cable.
