USE AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL

MAINTENANCE

The machine proper and safe operation is guaranteed by a careful and constant maintenance.
The following table sums up the scheduled maintenance. The intervals indicated can be changed to suit working
conditions. These must be defined by the person in charge of the maintenance.
WARNING!
The operations must be carried out with the machine off and the battery disconnected.
Moreover, read carefully the instructions in the Safety chapter before performing any maintenance
operation.
All scheduled or extraordinary maintenance operations must be performed by skilled personnel, or by an authorized
Service Centre.
This Manual contains the Scheduled Maintenance Table and describes only the easiest and most common maintenance
procedures.
NOTE
For other maintenance procedures contained in the Scheduled Maintenance Table refer to the specific
Service Manual that can be consulted at any Service Centre.

Squeegee cleaning
Squeegee blade check (and replacement)
Brush cleaning
Tank and vacuum grid with float cleaning
Detergent filter cleaning
Battery charge
Lead battery (WET) fluid level check
Nut and screw tightening check
Brush electric motor carbon brush check or replacement
Vacuum electric motor carbon brush check or replacement
Drive motor brush (or carbon brush) check or replacement

Grease drive shaft bearings (*)
(1): and after the first 8 working hours
(2): contact an authorized Nilfisk-Advance Service Centre for these maintenance operations
