Disposal
At its end of life, discard the device according to the local laws and
regulations, or deliver the device to your supplier. Remove the batteries
from the remote control for separate disposal.
Is the plug connected to the power socket? Is the earth leakage
circuit breaker switched on? Is there a power outage? Could the
water tank be full? Empty the water tank. The room temperature
is lower than the set temperature; adjust the set temperature.
Measure the outlet temperature; it should be ± 10° cooler than
the room temperature. Is there direct sunlight? Close the curtains.
Are windows and/or doors open? Close them. Are there too many
people in the room? Is the room too big? Is there something in the
room that produces (a lot of) heat? Turn it off or delete it. Is the
filter dusty, covered with dirt? Clean it. Is the air inlet or outlet
blocked? Provide free airflow.
Is the surface of the machine firm, level and horizontal? The
flowing refrigerant in the unit also produces some noise. This is
normal.
Is the water drain hose installed correctly? Is the leakage due to
moving the device with a full water tank? Then empty the water
reservoir first. Check the tap on the drain and the water discharge
point.
The overheating protection may have turned it off. See 'Safety'.
The water tank is full. See 'Drainage of condensed water'.
