Acquiring Keys

Because the keys are unique, ex-factory there are no keys stored
in the control unit .
Associating the keys can be done during first switch-on of the con-
trol unit, following the procedure (see section "10 System start-up",
under "SELF-LEARNING MENU"), or later via the technical menu, as
shown below .

The use of the transponder key with the reader built into the keypad
replaces the need to enter the user code, except for access to the
user menu, for which entry of the code on the keypad will still be
necessary .
Once the user code is entered, or a transponder key duly registered
with the system is used, it will be possible to:
• Launch scenarios (by pressing the relevant keys),
• Turn off the system (by pressing the key)

From the keypad it is also possible, again via the built-in transpond-
er reader, for keys to be learned and checked .
The areas enabled through the keypad are also valid for the built-in
reader .
When using the keypad, the areas managed are only those the key-
pad and the code entered have in common, while when using the
built-in reader they are those the keypad and the key that has been
read have in common .

Learning remote controls

The remote controls can be learned during first switch-on of the
control unit, following the voice guide (see section "POWER ON
CTR-U ."), or later via the technical menu, as shown below .
