Keypads PXKD - PXWKTB01/PXWKTN01- PXKIN/PXKIB

Capacitive "Flat" keypads in black (PXWKTN01) or white (PX-
WKTB01), with window (PXKD) or LED in black (PXKIN) or white (PX-
KIB) connectable on Bus . Wall-mounted or recessed . Liquid crystal
display backlit in blue, touch-sensitive (PXWKTN01/PXWKTB01) or
membrane (PXKD) keys .

Tamper ON
1 - RS-485 bus terminals for connecting keypads and readers:
[+,-] bus power supply;
[A,B] data
2 - [SW1] Anti-opening / tearing tamper .
3 - [JP1] Jumper to enable/disable the tamper, see Ⓐ
4 - Red LED notifying communication on bus . If it is flashing it
means that the keypad is communicating with the control unit
5 - Keypad buzzer .

Tamper OFF

INSTALLATION

The keypads are wall-mounted in protected spaces, standing proud
or recessed in OPALESI backboxes (only PXWKTN01/PXWKTB01) .
Fit the PXKIN/PXKIB keypad into a recessed box for three modules
with commercially available front plates . The recessed box must be
installed flush with the wall and at a suitable height .
Connect the control unit and keypads to the respective terminals
[+ A B -] .

ADDRESSING

Addressing the keypad is done directly on the keypad using the
local menu .

User interface

The
following
descriptions
PXWKTN01/PXWKTB01-PXKD-PXKIN/PXKIB keypads connected on
the Bus, and for the local keypad built into the control unit

KEYPAD DISPLAY

The display is composed of two rows of 16 characters each . When
in stand-by the keypad goes into "Energy-saving mode", dimming
the brightness after a pre-set time .
On some keypad models there are 16 numbers under the display
which help to interpret the second row of the display . The key for
these is as follows:

Managed areas: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 .
Areas not managed: 14, 15, 16 .
Areas on: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 .
Areas switching on: 6, 7, 8 .
Areas partially on: 9 .
Areas not ready: 10 .
Areas off: 10, 11, 12, 13 .
