PXLAN/PXWEB LAN INTERFACES

The PXLAN interface allows you to programme, read the settings
and display the control unit status from a PC using the PxManager
program .
The PXWEB interface, on the other hand, in addition to providing
the functions of the PXLAN interface, allows the control unit to be
controlled via a keypad duplicated from a webpage .
For remote connection to the PXLAN and SPXWEB interfaces,
the router connected to your home network must be configured
(see the relative instruction manual) .

CIRCUIT BOARD DESCRIPTION

For correct operation of the control unit the links [JP1] - [JP2]
pos . ⑤ must remain in position A .

INSTALLATION

All the operations to insert and remove the card must be
carried out with no power to the control unit .

Once the four spacers provided
are attached to the card (either
SIP or IFLAN), it can be inserted
into the relevant holes on the
back of the container (top left) .

PXKNX

The PXKNX interface card considerably enhances the commu-
nication opportunities of Proxinet control units, allowing them to
communicate with the KNX system . It is connected to the port that
all the control units have, and it in turn makes the communication
ports available .

a Main RS232 port;
b USB port . A USB port is available for the connection of a PC to
carry out programming operations using the PxManager software . In
this case, the connection between control unit and PC is direct, and
can be made using a simple USB cable .
- During USB connection to the PC, or where there is an active PXWEB
connection, communication between the control unit and the BUS
KNX is suspended .
- The USB connection is not active where there are any PXWEB cards .
 KNX programming key and LED;
 BUS KNX terminal board;
e Second RS232 port: Connects the device to the control unit via the
PXWEB terminal board where present .
INSTALLATION
WARNING . In order for a safety event to be correctly posted by
the interface on the KNX bus, the minimum time of that event must be
greater than or equal to 3 seconds .
WARNING . For details about programming, contact technical
assistance .
WARNING . The device must only be installed by qualified
personnel, following the regulations in force and the guidelines for
KNX installations .
