Connecting PC – Control unit
Once the components of the system have been defined (previous
sections), you can move on to programming the control unit from
either a keypad or the PC via direct or remote connection .
Local programming via USB
Opening control unit
When the control unit is opened by removing the cover, the system
goes into alarm mode .
To avoid this, you must:
1 .
Go into the Technical Menu .
2 .
Open the control unit by undoing the relevant screws .
3 .
To prevent alarms being triggered at the end of programming
because of possible programming errors, we recommend put-
ting the control unit into maintenance mode . See also "START-
UP" section .
4 .
Put the control unit into maintenance mode, setting Dip 1 to
ON .
Connecting PC to control unit
1 .
Install the control unit programming software on your own PC .
2 .
Connect the control unit to the PC using a type A-B USB cable .
