First switch-on

This section has the objective of describing the start-up of a
"simple" system with no special settings, showing the installation
of all the components and the programming of the basic functions
(areas, scenarios, inputs, outputs, telephone notifications) .
Before starting up the system the following must have been
completed:
Laying control unit bus RS485 .
Cabling inputs .
Cabling outputs .
Cabling control unit .
Cabling keypads, readers, accessories, ...
The start-up of the system is explained below .

POWER ON CONTROL UNIT

Close the control unit cover before starting up the procedure
or, if you want to do it with the cover open, follow the warnings in
the section "OPENING/CLOSING CONTROL UNIT" .
Power the control unit with 230V AC and connect the battery .
After displaying the product code and firmware version on the
display, the control unit will automatically start up a procedure that
will ask the installer whether to proceed with learning new radio
devices, or with normal start-up (this is also true when the reset
button P1 is pressed):

for the control unit to start up normally, or press
the procedure to invite the installer to associate the radio devices .
The invitation will be repeated until the device to be associated is
chosen .
Once the radio device button is pressed, the procedure will confirm
that registration has taken place .
After which the following choice will be offered:
(A)
confirm by pressing key
new devices;
edit the description shown on the display by pressing key (B) .
Once the association of the various devices is completed, press
(*)
to exit, and then press
to confirm the exit .
If at Power On Control Unit no operation is carried out, after
2 minutes the control unit will automatically exit from self-learning
If at Power On Control Unit the system is armed, the control
unit will not start up self-learning mode .

SELF-LEARNING MENU

Self-learning of devices as described in "POWER ON CONTROL
UNIT" can be carried out at any time, simply by accessing the Tech-

nical Menu and pressing
after entering the Technical Code .

Connecting the Touch Screen can be done directly on the
control unit via the PXITS4 .3 interface, or using the PXLAN interface
