Connect the appliance only to an
AC power supply with the voltage
indicated on the rating plate.

Do not operate this appliance with
an external timer or remote con-
trol system.

Never immerse the appliance or
the lead cable in water or other
liquids.

Do not clean the slicer in a dish-
washer.
10. Never touch the appliance or lead
cable with wet hands.

14. Always use the slicer on a level
and uncluttered surface.
15. Make sure that the lead cable
does not hang over the edge of the
worktop or table, since this can
cause accidents, for example if
small children pull on the cable.
16. Route the lead cable so that it is
prevented from being pulled or
tripped over.
17. Never wrap the lead cable around
the appliance, but around the
cable storage.
18. Always disconnect the lead cable
from the wall socket pulling on
the plug, never on the cable.
19. Never carry the slicer by the lead
cable.
20. Use the slicer only indoors.
21. Children are not aware of the risks
resulting from electrical applian-
ces and cutting tools. Therefore
the slicer must not be used by
children.

23. Always use the rest holder for sli-

29. The slicer is provided for dome-
stic use and is not suitable for
commercial use. Only use it for
slicing household quantities.
30. Do not use the appliance with
accessories of other manufactur-
ers or brands, to prevent damage.
31. Disconnect the appliance from
the wall socket after use and prior
to cleaning. Never leave the appli-
ance unattended when it is con-
nected to the wall socket.
32. Never open the casing of the
slicer. There is danger of electric
shock.
33. Check the appliance, the wall
socket and the lead cable regu-
larly for wear or damage. In case
the lead cable or other parts
appear damaged, please send the
appliance or the base to our after
sales service for inspection and
repair (for address, see warranty
terms). Unauthorised repairs can
constitute serious risks for the
user and void the warranty.
