4 Cleaning, care and maintenance
4.1 Cleaning and care by the user
Regular cleaning of the combustion chamber, in particular the
burner trough and the ash pan, is essential for fault-free operation
of the pellet fireplace.
Warning! Serious personal injury and property damage!
● Always carry out cleaning while the pellet fireplace is cold!
Necessary activities
● Visual inspection of the burner trough for waste
accumulation
● Visual inspection/emptying of the ash pan (the ash
pan should be max. 3/4 filled)
● Check connector for possible rust and ash deposits
and clean it
● Scrape residues out of the burner trough
● Clean the combustion chamber
● Clean the ash pan and the area underneath the ash
pan compartment
● Clean the glass panes
● Clean coated surfaces
● Visual inspection for surface damage
● Clean the pellet reservoir, remove wood dust/pellet
dust, otherwise these may block the screw conveyor!

● Do not clean the pellet fireplace with water! Water pene-
tration can bridge contacts and cause a short circuit and/or
electric shock!
● Use only a suitable ash vacuum!
● Do not use aggressive cleaning agents!

The burner trough is located in the combustion chamber. Open the
combustion chamber door for cleaning. The combustion chamber door
lock is located underneath the door below the inspection door. Remove
the burner trough and scrape out residues.

Remove the burner trough for cleaning of the combustion chamber.

The ash pan is located behind the inspection door. For cleaning, release
the ash pan lock and pull the ash pan forward!

With a damp cloth! Caution, do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning
agents!

We recommend cleaning the coated surfaces with a slightly damp microfibre
cloth while they are cold because they are very sensitive.
