2.8 LEVANA AQUA 2.0 water installation
Water side connection
The water pipes can optionally be laid to the rear (installed in the
factory) or to the bottom through the floor.
For laying through the floor, you must remove the lower rear wall
and adjust the mounting for the flow and return flow accord-
ingly. For laying of the water pipes through the floor, as well as for
removal / installation of the rear cladding, follow a similar procedure
to that which is set out in the "Combustion air nozzles for connec-
tion from the bottom" chapter.

Important information for integration of the pellet fire-
place into the heating system and/or domestic cooling
water system:
ū The water connections and the electrical work may only be car-
ried out by expert technicians.
ū We recommend the "Olsberg installation unit" (item no.:
23/5591.9250) for integration into the heating system and/or do-
mestic cooling water system. Observe the separate manual for
this unit here.
ū In addition to the necessary safety components, a return flow in-
crease valve which increases the return flow temperature to at
least 55 °C must always be installed (integrated into the "Olsberg
installation unit").
ū An outlet tap must be installed in the bottom section of the wa-
ter circuit.
ū A buffer must be integrated into the heating system for efficient
and fault-free operation of the LEVANA AQUA 2.0 pellet fireplace.
As a guideline for the storage volume, approx. 60 litres should be
provided per kW of heating output (approx. 500 litres).
ū For efficient operation of the pellet fireplace, it is strongly rec-
ommended that both buffer sensors (top and bottom) be
connected!
● Clean the heating system before hydraulic connection of the pel-
let fireplace through flushing in accordance with DIN EN 14336
(Heating systems in buildings – Installation and commissioning
of water based heating systems) so that the function of the pellet
fireplace is not endangered!
Proof of cleaning must be provided in the event of possible war-
ranty services from Olsberg.
● The pellet fireplace may never be operated without water.
● The locally applicable regulations and technical rules must also al-
ways be observed!
Venting at the vent valve
● After connection of the flow and return line and filling with wa-
ter, the system should be vented at the vent valve for the pellet
fireplace.
● Check all water connections on the pellet fireplace for leaks!
