Note! Motor combustion air damper accessory
(Part number 43/1481.9240)
The combustion air damper is used for automatic opening and
closing of the combustion air line. A closed combustion air line
prevents warm air from escaping from the installation room
unnecessarily.
Observe the instructions enclosed with the combustion air
damper!
Operation while absent
The pellet fireplace can also be operated while absent in automatic
mode and with a saved frost protection temperature or with operat-
ing via the app. In this case, care must be taken to ensure that pets
or dependants do not remain in the direct radiation range at any
time and no flammable objects are placed on the pellet fireplace.
People who do not operate the pellet fireplace but have access to it
must also be informed of this fact!
3.5 Recommissioning
● After long periods without operation, check that the chimney
duct is clear!
● Check the pellet reservoir and the screw before recommissioning,
after the summer break and before the heating period!
● Conduct a visual inspection of the burner trough before every
start and clean the burner trough if necessary. No pellets may be
manually placed in the burner trough (exceptions: during recom-
missioning and if the reservoir runs empty, a handful of pellets
must be poured into the burner trough)!
Note! Power failure or extended period with the master
switch turned off
In the event of a power cut or if the master switch is turned
off for an extended period, the regulation system saves key
combustion-related data and settings. When the power to the
pellet fireplace is restored, it is regulated to the operating state
before the power failure.
If the pellet fireplace is without power for more than 14 days,
then the data and time must be reset. The regulation system
recognises this and automatically switches to the "Date/time"
menu after switch-on.
3.6 Behaviour in the event of a chimney fire
Caution! Serious personal injury and property damage!
In the event of a chimney fire, proceed as follows in order to
prevent serious personal injury and property damage:
● Switch the pellet fireplace off!
● Inform the fire department and chimney sweep!
● Allow the chimney to burn out in a controlled manner!
● Have an expert investigate the cause!
We reserve the right to make technical changes
3.7 Operation with the touch control panel
After switching the master switch on, the touch control panel
display is automatically activated and the "HOME display" appears.
If no buttons are pressed for 5 minutes, then the display switches
off (energy-saving mode). The HOME display appears again if the
display is touched.
