Disconnect cable with battery pole terminals
and earthing terminal h from the transport
vehicle or from the ground, wind it up and fix the
terminal clamp to the point provided.
Contamination of the container caused by the
filling process must be removed immediately
with a dry cloth.

5.6 Filling

Filling is possible when the tank is in a horizon-
tal or vertical position. Better suction and total
evacuation is achieved when the tank is in a
horizontal position.
Note that excessive tensile forces on
the delivery hose may tip the fuel
trolley out of the vertical position.
Ensure sufficient ventilation in the area of the
tank during the fuelling process.
Important!
Hazard from electric shock.
Ensure that the electrical cables/con-
nections are dry and clean.

Important!
The electric pump has a thermal over-
load protection and a feature to avoid
risks caused by overload.
The intervention of this feature causes
the pump to switch off automatically, but
does not deactivate the main switch. It
is important to switch the pump off using
its switch.
Once normal operating conditions have
been restored, the pump can be swit-
ched back on. Should the protective
shut-off trip during normal operating
conditions, please contact the Technical
Service.
Maintain the minimum safety distances between
power source and fuel tank as well as between
power source and the tank to be filled. You will
find details and sketches in the pump instruc-
tions in the chapter "Safety during fuelling".
Ensure that the pump's sliding ON/OFF switch
is set to OFF.

The cable with the battery pole terminals and
earthing terminal has green, black and red
terminals. All three terminals must be used.
1. The green terminal (ground) must be con-
nected first. Connect the green terminal to a
vehicle panel or an earth conductor. Do NOT
connect the green terminal to the minus ter-
minal of the power source.
2. Now connect the black terminal (minus)
to the minus pole of the DC power source.
3. Finally, connect the red terminal (plus)
to the plus pole.
The terminals must be disconnected in the
reverse sequence.
Open the delivery line ball valve b .
Open the delivery nozzle lock and insert the
automatic delivery nozzle fully into the contai-
ner/tank to be filled.
Switch pump on.
Operate automatic delivery nozzle.
