1. General

The mobile filling station is state of the art techno-
logy and complies with approved technical safety
regulations.
The filling station carries the CE symbol, i.e. the EU
directives and harmonised standards of relevance
to the filling station were applied during design
and manufacture. The explosion pressure shock
resistance construction has also been tested by
TÜV-Süd.
The filling station may only be used in a technically
flawless condition in the version delivered by the
manufacturer.
For safety reasons, it is not allowed to make modifi-
cations to the filling station.

1.1 Safety

Each filling station is tested for function and safety
before despatch.
The filling station is safe to operate when used
correctly.
Incorrect operation, failure to follow the safety
instructions or misuse poses a dangerous risk with
regard to:
• the life and limb of the operator.
• the filling station and other assets of the
operator.
• the function of the filling station.
As the operator of the filling station, you are
responsible for ensuring that
• all safety instructions are understood and
complied with.
• the valid rules of occupational safety and
explosion protection are complied with.
• personal protective measures are used in
accordance with the safety datasheet for the fuel
being used.
• only instructed persons operate the filling station
(see section "Operating the filling station").

1.1.1 Maintenance and monitoring

The filling station must be regularly checked to
ensure it is in a safe condition.
This check includes:
• Visual inspection for leaks (seal of filling hose
and fittings).
• Function test.
• Completeness / identifiability of the warning,
mandatory and prohibitory signs on the
filling station.
• The prescribed inspections (for details see
section "Maintenance and inspection").

1.1.2 Using original parts

Please only use original parts provided or
recommended by the manufacturer. Also take note
of all safety and usage information provided with
these parts.
This concerns spare and wear parts.

1.1.3 Operating the filling station

The filling station may only be used by instructed
persons who
• have read and understood the operating
instructions.
• have proven their ability to operate the
equipment.
• have been assigned to operate the equipment.

Important!

The operating instructions must be easily
accessible at the filling station for each
user.

1.1.4 Warning notices on the filling station

The warning notices must be affixed to the filling
station and clearly legible.
Sign applied by the manufacturer to the front
of the tank:
Ban on fire, naked flames
and smoking.
