1.2 Designated use

The KS-Mobil mobile filling station is a tested
and approved IBC* in accordance with ADR for
hazardous goods in packaging groups II+III (mode-
rate and low-hazard liquid, water-polluting sub-
stances).
The filling station is intended for use at a variety of
locations outdoors.
Operating temperature range: - 10 °C to + 40 °C
Important!

Only a clean medium may be conveyed.
Correct use concerns, (preferably) the following
liquids:
• fuels with a max. ethanol content of 15 %.
• fuel mixtures.
Also permissible are:
• diesel fuel.
• heating oil.
• biodiesel.
Labelling with UN1202 is required for this.
Important!

In water conservation areas, only with the
use of a collection pan.
The following are required in accordance with ADR:
• labelling (sticker) of the filling station.
• requirement to equip with a fire extinguisher.
• the carrying of accompanying papers (here,
transportation papers – observe national
regulations regarding exceptions!).
• compliance with the so-called "1000-points rule"
in accordance with table 1.1.3.6 ADR, i.e. total
quantity per vehicle < 1000 points.

(333 l = 1000 points)
• ** repeat inspection by an expert required 2½
years after the date of manufacture.
• ** repeat inspection by an officially recognised
expert required 5 years after the date of
manufacture.

It is essential to read the relevant
regulations of the ADR.
1.2.1 Summary
The equipment is not intended for any other or
additional purpose.
For safety reasons, it is not allowed to make
modifications to the filling station. Correct use also
includes compliance with all information in these
operating instructions.

1.3 Inappropriate use

Inappropriate use also includes failure to
observe the notices in these operating
instructions.
F u r t h e r m o r e :
• non compliance with the regulations of the ADR
and prevailing national provisions.
• storage and transport of liquids other than those
specified under correct use, e.g. bioethanol,
chemicals, oils (lubricating, hydraulic or vegetable
oil).
• operation in an explosive atmosphere.
• operation in a dusty, explosive atmosphere.
• operation below ground.
• operation in ex-zone 0.

** The inspections have to be repeated in each
case after a time span of 5 years.
