Initial Operation

Before the initial operation of the
arium
®
61316, the previously
installed consumables must be put
through a 60-minute rinsing
process.
The arium system recognizes
automatically whether or not it
is an initial operation when the
device is switched on.
The rinsing process is automatically
activated when the device is switched
on ("I") in the case of initial opera-
tion.
Please follow the notes that appear
on the display.
Note!
All installation steps have to be
completed before you switch on
the system power and pump in
feed water.
1. The main power switch on the
left-hand side of the housing
must be on ("I").
The arium
®
system will then
perform a system check.
The arium
®
system display will show
the following information (in Eng-
lish upon initial operation):
SYSTEM ARIUM RO
S/N xxxxxxxxxx
System Check OK
V1.XX
The display will show the model
type of the system, the serial
number and the software version.
Following this, there is a further
system test for initial operation.
In the case of initial operation, the
system automatically changes to
the rinsing process.
Note!
If initial operation has already been
carried out, the system misses out
the rinsing process.
Following this, the system carries
out internal initialization as well
as an inspection of the inlet pres-
sure (minimum 1 bar, maximum
6.8 bar).
