Open Tank Installation*
Equally, with the help of a multi-
function box an open storage tank
can be connected to the arium
61316. The required accessory
(610AMFB1) can be ordered via
Sartorius Stedim Biotech.
Note!
Please ensure that the tank meets
all the installation requirements.

This kind of tank is controlled via a
float switch that starts the system
when the tank is empty and switch-
es off when the system's tank is
full. In this case, the reservoir level
display is run by the three reservoir
level detectors on the tank.
1. Make sure that the system power
and feed water are off.
2. Install tank at suitable location.
3. Connect the multi-function box,
including level sensors, as described
in the attached installation guide.
4. Press the other end of the blue
labeled product water tube, which
is connected with the system, into
the product inlet connection of the
tank.
If a Sartorius Stedim Biotech prod-
uct is not available, use a cable that
is closed when the reservoir level is
low, in order to maintain contact
between the system and produc-
tion.

5. Open the feed water line to the
RO system and switch on the
Power.

Note!
With a low tank level the arium
61316 will change, after system
check in to the "operate" mode and
starts the production of RO water.
6. For further settings please follow
the chapter "Initial Operations",
"Tank System".
After successful installation the
bar graph in the display indicates
the reservoir level.
Note!
After new installation, the tank
must be flushed|cleaned.
7. Connect RO water equipment to
the tank.
To utilize the advantages of the
system's pressure, a pressure tank
should always be installed.

no guarantees for product water
quality.
