6. Check:
S Throttle valve movement
Stick ! Replace carburetor body.

ASSEMBLY
NOTE:
S Before reassembling, wash all parts in clean
gasoline.
S Always use new gaskets and O-rings.
1. Tighten:
S Inner parts
Main nozzle:
3 Nm (0.3 mSkg, 2.2 ftSlb)
Valve seat:
5 Nm (0.5 mSkg, 3.6 ftSlb)
Main jet:
2 Nm (0.2 mSkg, 1.4 ftSlb)
Pilot jet:
0.8 Nm (0.08 mSkg, 0.58 ftSlb)
Starter plunger cap:
3.5 Nm (0.35 mSkg, 2.53 ftSlb)
2. Measure:
S Float height a
Out of specification ! Adjust.
Float height a :
12 X 16 mm (0.47 X 0.63 in)
Measurement and adjustment steps:
S Hold the carburetor upside down.
S Incline the carburetor at 60 X 70_ (so that the
end of the float valve does not hang down as a
result of float weight).
S Measure the distance between the carburetor
body and top of the floats.
NOTE:
The float arm should resting on the needle valve
without exerting pressure on it.
