Change your working position re-
gularly. Prolonged use of the device
can lead to blood circulation dis-
orders in the hands caused by vi-
bration (Raynaud's syndrome). You
can however extend your machine use
time by wearing appropriate gloves
or by taking regular breaks. Please
ensure that if you are susceptible to
poor circulation, low outside tempera-
tures or strong gripping forces while
working, this may reduce the length of
time for which you are able to work.
RESIDUAL RISKS
There will always be residual risks even
if you operate this power tool according
to the instructions. The following hazards
may occur in connection with the type and
design of this power tool:
a) Cutting injuries
b) Hearing damage if suitable ear protec-
tion is not worn.
c) Health injuries resulting from the effect
of vibration on the hands and arms in
the event that the device is used over
a longer period of time or is not pro-
perly used and maintained.
Assembly
Always remove the mains plug be-
fore working on the device.
Only use original parts.
The device can be used with either
the hedge trimmer attachment or
pole-mounted pruner attachment.

Dismantling is carried out in rever-
se order.
Before operating the device, you need to

mount the pruner attachment or hedge
trimmer attachment as required,
-
mount the blade, saw chain and spro-
cket cover, and align the chain,
-
pour in chain oil,
-
put the shoulder strap on
Use the tool provided in the scope of deli-
very for assembly.
Fitting/removing device
attachments
Fitting device attachments
1. Place the desired device attachment
(10/15) onto the telescopic arm (6).
2. Tighten the coupling nut (8) by hand
onto the threaded element.
Removing device attachments
1. Loosen the coupling nut (8) from the
device attachment's threaded element.
2. Pull the device attachment from the
telescopic arm (6).
Adjusting the telescopic
arm
You can adjust the length of the telescopic
arm (6):
1. Turn the threaded sleeve (7) on the
telescopic arm (6) to loosen.
2. Adjust the length of the telescopic arm
(6) by pushing or pulling.
3. Retighten the threaded sleeve (7).
Attaching the blade
1. Loosen the blade mounting screw (13)
and remove the sprocket cover (12)
(see small illustration).
