Programming the remote control

Caution
• Risk of injury by electric shock.
• Must be installed by an authorised electrician!
• Only the back of the hand is protected by the device. No protection
against accidental contact!
• The programming button must be operated with an insulated tool.
• The switched current of the device must be observed at all times.
Setting the VC420 to programming mode
a) Set the VC420 to programming mode by switching on the power supply
Switch on the power supply.
The VC420 will remain in programming mode for 3 minutes.
b) Set the VC420 to programming mode using the programming button
Press and hold the programming button for 3 seconds.
The VC420 will remain in programming mode for 3 minutes.
Programming master transmitter
Press and hold the programming button for 3 seconds while in programming
mode.
The system will confirm the programme setting with a 'nod', i.e. the shutter/
awning/blind moves a few centimetres in one direction and then reverses the
same distance.
This confirmation is hereafter referred to as 'nodding'.
The programming process is now complete.
Note
If a transmitter has already been programmed in the receiver, press the
programming button and hold for 10 seconds.
