Awning mode/ Venetian blind mode
You can toggle between awning and venetian blind mode.
Awning mode
After pressing a button, the awning travels in self-locking mode to the set final
position.
Venetian blind mode (factory setting)
In venetian blind mode, you can control the receiver in jog mode. If you press the
button for longer than 1 second, the venetian blind travels in self-locking mode.
Direction switch
The direction switch lets you change the direction of the tubular drive from left-
handed to right-handed rotation and vice versa. The factory default setting has
the switch turned as far to the left as possible.

Programming the remote control

1. Connect the VC470-II to the power supply.
2. Now switch on the power supply.
3. The VC470-II is ready to programme for 3 minutes.
a) Programming master transmitter
Note
The master transmitter is the first transmitter programmed on a re-
ceiver. Unlike other programmed transmitters, the master transmitter
can perform a range of tasks, including the programming or deletion
of other transmitters. All transmitters that have a separate UP, STOP,
DOWN button and a programming button can be master transmitters.
If a master transmitter is already programmed on the receiver, press
the programming button of the transmitter for 10 seconds.
When the receiver is in programming mode, press the programming button on
the transmitter and hold for 3 seconds.
The curtain will make a slight movement to confirm programming, i.e. the curtain
will move a few centimetres.
This confirmation is referred to as "nodding" in the rest of the operating instruc-
tions.
When the curtain "nods", this signifies that the programming process has been
successfully completed.
