The hot water dispensing is adjusted using the (D1) button on the group keyboard:
9 Place a container under the hot water spout (G).
10 When the light is fl ashing, press the serving button (D1) and start brewing.
11 Wait for the desired quantity to be reached in the container and then press the (D1) button
again.
12 The quantity of water dispensed is stored in the electronic unit.
The electronic unit automatically stores and applies the adjustment to the other keyboards.
To adjust the dispesing of groups related to the second and/or third keyboard, repeat the proce-
dure on the desired keyboard.
9.

MAINTENANCE

Warning: Unless otherwise specifi ed, any maintenance operation shall
be carried out when the machine is off and cold, and with the plug dis-
connected from the power socket. It is not recommended to use metal,
abrasive tools or solvents to clean the machine, as they may damage it.
Where required, use specifi c detergents for coff ee machines, available for purchase in
specialised service centres.
Detergents shall not alter the features of the materials or the machines; only use spe-
cifi c products to make sure that the dispensed products are compliant with the appli-
cable laws on dispensing food for human consumption.
9.1.

Daily Maintenance

For cleaning purposes, use a lint-free cloth or sponge.
• Clean the housing and follow the satin fi nish on the stainless steel parts.
• Clean the steam and hot water spouts making sure the diff users' nozzles are not partially or
fully clogged due to residues or limescale; in case limescale should be removed, make sure
the nozzle is not buckled or damaged.
• Remove the machine fi lter holders, remove the fi lters and clean the coff ee residues using a
plastic bristle brush. To remove excess grease, rinse the fi lters and the fi lter holders in warm
water.
9.2.

Weekly Maintenance

9.2.1. Cleaning the Brew Groups
To be carried out when the machine is on and pressurised.
• (Fig.34) - Insert the standard blind fi lter into the fi lter holder, add a spoonful of detergent
powder for coff ee machines and then mount the fi lter holder into the group to be cleaned.
To clean brew groups, use a specifi c professional detergent for food-related
product dispensing.
• Operate the group coff ee brew control for approximately 10 seconds, then stop the brewing.
• Start and stop brewing again (5 times at least) until the water coming out from the group
drain is clear.
In the Automatic version, once the fi lter holder has been installed, press the(A1) and
(C1) buttons simultaneously on the keyboard, for the machine to run fi ve washing
cycles automatically.
• Once the washing cycle is completed, remove the fi lter holder and the blind fi lter, then insert
the normal fi lter, reposition the fi lter holder on the group and operate the brewing process
more than once, to make sure the washing is thorough.
• Make a cup of coff ee to check if it tastes good.
9.2.2. Cleaning Filters
• Prepare a detergent mix of boiling water and powder detergent for coff ee machines. Make
sure the container you use is not steel or iron.
• Remove the fi lters and soak them along with the fi lter holders in the solution for at least 20
minutes - possibly overnight.
• Remove the fi lters and the fi lter holder from the mix and rinse them thoroughly under run-
ning water.

9.2.3. Cleaning the Drip Basin
• Remove the cup holder grill from the basin and clean it if required.
• Remove the drain basin and clean it removing limescale or possible residue of coff ee
grounds.
9.3.

Periodic Maintenance

9.3.1. Regenerating the Softeners
To regenerate the softeners, please refer to the supplied manual.
9.4.

Downtime

Procedure to be carried out by the assistance technical service.
• Switch off the machine and wait for the pressure to reach zero in the boiler (pressure gauge
at '0').
• Disconnect the plug.
• Use a pump to suck out the water.
10.

WITHDRAWAL FROM SERVICE

10.1. Temporary Withdrawal from Service

• Clean and maintain the machine.
• Unplug and wound the electrical supply cord.
• Unplug the water supply hose.
• Cover up the machine and store it in a dry environment, away from adverse weather condi-
tions and with exclusive access.
Warning: To disconnect the machine from the supply network, please refer
to qualifi ed personnel

10.2. Disposal

The electrical and electronic equipment must be disposed of according to
the European Directive 2002/96/EC.
Such appliances CANNOT be disposed of as normal solid urban garbage, but
they must be collected separately to optimize the recovering and recycling
of materials they are made of.
