1. GENERAL INFORMATION

1.1.

Users

The machine can be used by two users performing diff erent tasks.
OPERATOR
A person with appropriate technical knowledge who uses the machine for brewing coff ee and
dispensing hot water and steam in compliance with the current hygienic regulations in force.
After reading this manual, he is able to perform:
• The normal operations of machine installation;
• The correct dispensing of the product;
• The cleaning of the machine.
SPECIALISED TECHNICIAN
Person who, after reading this manual, can consider himself specialised in the installation, use
and maintenance of professionalcoff ee machines:
• He is able to perform repairs in case of serious malfunction and he is also aware of this Man-
ual and all information concerning Safety;
• He can understand the contents of the Manual and can correctly interpret Drawings and Dia-
grams;
• He knows the main Regulations concerning hygiene, accident-prevention, technology and
safety;
• He has specifi c experience in the maintenance of professional coff ee machines;
• He knows how to act in case of Emergency.He knows where to acquire personal protection
devices and how to use them correctly.
It is forbidden to let people who are not eligible to use the machine.

Manual Structure

The Customer needs to carefully read the information contained in this Manual.
1.3.1. Scope and Content
This Manual is intended to provide the Customer with all the necessary information for installa-
tion, maintenance and use of the coff ee machine.
Before performing any operation on the Machine, operators and special-
ised technicians must carefully read the instructions contained in this
manual.
In case of any doubt about the correct interpretation of instructions, contact the Manufacturer to
obtain the necessary clarifi cation.
It is forbidden to perform any operation without having read and under-
stood the content of this manual.
1.3.2. Consignees
This Manual pertains to the operators and specialised Technicians.
The operators must not perform operations intended for the specialised technicians.
The manufacturer is not liable for any damages resulting from failure to follow such prohibition.
The instruction manual is part of the purchased product and must always be attached even when
handing the product down to the successor.
1.3.3. Conservation
The Instruction Manual must be stored near the Machine.
To ensure the integrity and readability of this manual over the time, the following precautions
are advised:
• Use the manual so as not to damage all or part of the content.
• Do not remove, tear or tamper the manual parts for any reason.
• Keep the manual protected from humidity and heat so that its print quality and readability,
in all its parts, will not be damaged.
