7.4.5 CHANGING THE FAN SPEEDS

On each cassette fan coil six different air volumes are available, according to different fan speed
setting. Three fan speeds are standard connected, as indicated in the electric wiring diagram

located inside the electric box.
In order to modify the speed setting, proceed as follows:

1.
make sure that the unit has been disconnected from the power supply;
2.
get access to the electric panel by removing the 4 screws fixing the metal cover of the
4
control box;
3.
move the fast-on connectors of the autotransformer (Enclosure 1/E, point 1) into the
position corresponding to the speeds required, working on the terminal board with
5
symbols L-M-M-1-2-3-4-5-6 and following the electric wiring diagram given with
the unit. Terminal «L» corresponds to the common of the motor, therefore it must be
always connected to the phase. Terminals M-M of the autotransformer correspond

to the single-speed of the motor.
7.4.6 REPLACING THE AUTOTRANSFORMER OR THE CAPACITOR

In order to replace the autotransformer (Enclosure 1/E, point 1) or the capacitor (Enclosure 1/E,
point 4), operate as follows:

1.
make sure that the unit has been disconnected from the power supply;
2.
get access to the electric panel by removing the 4 screws fixing the metal cover of the

control box;
3.
discharge the capacitor by short circuiting the clamps with a screw driver with an insulated
handle;

4.
unscrew the 2 fixing screws of the autotransformer or the fixing nut of the capacitor;
5.
replace the part and make sure that the new one has the same technical features, in
order to avoid alterations on the performance of the cassette fan coil.
