7.2.3 CLEANING THE COIL

Every year, verify that the fin pack is not clogged from dust or anything else that does not
allow the normal air flow; if necessary, use a jet of compressed air to clean the heat ex-

changer. To prevent damage to the fins or the pipes on the heat exchanger never use steel
tools or sharp objects to clean the spaces between the fins.

Here is a list of possible problems and malfunctions, their causes and the procedures that

you or the technician service must perform to correct the malfunction.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Lack on the power supply
Set point reached
In presence of WS (minimum water
temperature thermostat), hot water
temperature < 35°C, insufficient water
flow and/or temperature in coil, or
damaged water sensor (WS)
Autotransfomer and/or electric motor
burnt
The filter and/or the coil is clogged
Vibrations caused by a wrong
installation and /or loosening of the
fixing screw
Unbalanced fan deck
The autotransformer is burnt
The filter and/or the coil is clogged
The fan speed is too low
Water and/or air temperature at the
entry of the fan coil does not comply
with the expected values
The pump is insufficient to handle
operational requirements
SOLUTION
Verify the network voltage
and/or the integrity of the fuse
on the control's electronic card
and the rightness of the electrical
connections
Check the control setting
Check the water temperature
and water flow on the coil and/or the
correct working of the water sensor
(WS)
Replace the components
Clean the filter and/or the coil
Verify carefully and carry out the
corrective actions
Replace it
Replace the autotransformer
Clean the filter and/or the coil
Increase the fan speed on the control
Verify the available capacity and
the capacity of the unit installed and
operate accordingly
Replace the pump with a pump
suitable to the installation
