6.7 CONTROL VALVE
It is possible to install control valves on all cassette units, for 2 and 4 pipe systems (Enclo-
sure 3/B ÷ 5/B).
EURAPO offers a standard valve kit (optional) including:
•
on/off or modulating valves, ¾" GM (2 pipe system) and ½" GM for the hot water coil
(4 pipe system), factory fitted;
•
assembly kit (supplied loose);
•
shut-off full bore ball valves ending with ½" GF connection (supplied loose);
•
auxiliary drain pan with PVC pipe (supplied loose, See Fig.24 for installation instruc-
tions). During installation verify that the curve of the PVC pipe is facing downwards.
The condensate pump is connected to the cooling valve in such a way that when the pump is
in alarm mode, the cooling valve is closed, and this avoids further circulation of chilled water
into the coil (Enclosure 6/C).
If the control valves are not supplied by EURAPO, EURAPO is not responsible for
any malfunction or wrong electrical connection referred to the valves.
MAX. TIGHTENING TORQUE FOR THE CONNECTION OF THE EURAPO
VALVE KIT IS 20 Nm
