At the end of the water connection operations and after pressurizing the hydraulic
1
system, execute a tightness test at a higher pressure than the standard one, in order
to avoid water leaks during the regular use of the fan coil.

6.6 CONDENSING WATER DRAINAGE
3
In case the cassette unit works in cooling mode, it is recommended to have a correct con-
densing water discharge, in particular:
4
connect the water discharge connector (diam. 12 mm) to the system by using a
proper pipe having at least 2% slope, without obstructions. In order to avoid unpleas-
ant odours, the use of a siphon is recommended;
all pipes must be steady connected and thermally insulated in order to avoid easy
5
disconnection, possible obstructions and humidity formation.

discharge head is 850 mm from the bottom edge of the unit (Fig.23). The floating switch
besides activating the pump has also an alarm output that interrupts the power supply to
10
the cooling valve if the water level on the drain pan is above a certain limit, due to a defect
on the water evacuation system.
In case of dismounting of the condensate tray, it has to be completely emptied by using
+
the proper water discharge hole.
At the end of the water connection operations test the water discharge system: put
some water in the pan and make the start-up of the condensate pump.
UCS/H 600 cassette is designed without condensate pump, in order to have a
natural condensate water discharge.
